Mombasa Roots was founded in 1976 and for over 22 years now is performing at the Kenyan coastal touristic island of Mombasa and occasionally is touring all over the world. The band gained their experience in various assemblies not only in the neighbouring African countries but also in Switzerland, Germany and Italy as well as the Arabian Gulf countries and Canada. This CD is a result of their long practice performing Disco, Reggae, African and Oriental music, blended in together with their traditional chakacha beat.
