Nii Mantse, with his artists name King
Solomon, is composing and text
writing since his
early childhood and played in a family band on self-manufactured
instruments as a
juvenile. His nowadays melodies and texts have an absolutely
traditional origin but in a
brilliant way are adapted to actual dance sounds. This way he realizes
a successful
tradition of old Ghanaian folk songs with their melody and contents,
unintelligibly
demanding the ears even of the young disco generation.
